It’s a family affair.

Little Lungs Resuscitation Training was born as my wife Shiane’s journey to becoming a midwife began and we shared recognition of the need for specialized training for community birth workers. We realized that there was a gap in accessible, high-quality resuscitation training tailored to the unique needs of those providing out-of-hospital births.

After having the privilege of attending some out-of-hospital births myself and learning about the available equipment, I’ve developed a class designed specifically for those who prioritize excellence in newborn care. Our training provides community birth workers with essential skills in a supportive environment that respects and enhances their distinctive model of care.

Our focus is not only on competent care but also on understanding and supporting the special transition that occurs at birth. Little Lungs Resuscitation Training ensures that attendants are well-equipped to handle emergencies while upholding the values of personalized, family-centered care.
